Desserts Recipes - Raspberry Sorbet Recipe

Ingredients

SERVES 6-8

  • 450g/1lb raspberries

  • 400ml/14fl oz water

  • 175g/6oz granulated sugar

  • 50ml/2fl oz lemon juice


Method:

  1. Liquidize the raspberries in a blender or food processor, then strain.

  2. Boil 300ml/1/2pt water and the sugar for 5 minutes in a pan. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.

  3. Add the lemon juice, remaining water and the raspberries. Pour into a freezer container and freeze overnight.
