Frozen Egg Nog Recipe
Ingredients

2 egg yolks

25g/1oz caster sugar
-
2 tablespoons rum
-
1 tablespoon
brandy
-
300ml/1/2pt double cream
Method:
-
Place the egg yolks,
sugar, rum and brandy in a bowl over a pan of simmering
water and whisk until the mixture is thick and creamy.

Remove from the heat and continue whisking until the
mixture has cooled slightly. Then transfer to a freezer
container.

Whip the cream until it stands in soft peaks
and then fold carefully into the egg mixture. Freeze for
at least 4 hours.
