1/2 teaspoon
ground cinnamon
-
1/2 teaspoon
ground nutmeg
-
50g/2oz
caster sugar
-
150ml/1/4pt double
cream
-
250g/9oz mascarpone cheese
-
400ml/14fl oz custard
Method:

Put the cinnamon,
nutmeg, sugar and cream in a small pan. Bring slowly
to the boil, then put to one side to cool.

Put the Mascarpone in a large bowl and beat until
smooth.

Stir in the custard and the cooled spiced
cream. Pour the mixture into a shallow freezer
container
and freeze for
2 1/2
hours.
-
Beat to break up the ice crystals and freeze
for a further
2 1/2
hours before serving.
